Finishes

In our industry, it’s not uncommon for furniture finishes to be described as “delicate” and for the furniture itself to be accompanied by a “handle with care” disclaimer. PERRY Luxe sculpted steel furniture couldn’t be more different.

PERRY Luxe finishes are among the most durable, beautiful and unique in the industry. We’ve been developing our proprietary finish process since the early 1990’s. Our exceptional finishes are hand-applied and burnished in rust, old gold, silver tea, pewter, weathered copper and more. We also offer painted finishes that can be customized to any color of the rainbow as well as sheens in matte, rubbed satin and high gloss. Each piece of furniture is one-of-a-kind.

We seal our finishes with a high quality automotive grade clear coat, which makes each piece very durable. The clear coat is a two part epoxy and applied multiple times until the desired thickness is achieved. This is about double the thickness typically used in the furniture industry. Each piece is then hand sanded, waxed and buffed to bring out the natural beauty of the finish. Treated with the same care as wood or marble, our sculpted steel pieces will last more than a lifetime. Our finishing process makes our product more durable than powder coat and is excellent for exterior use.

Our furniture is built to use, not just admire.

PERRY¬†Luxe sculpted steel pieces are designed to be functional as well as beautiful. Like all furniture, common sense care is important. For maximum life expectancy, don’t slide rough bottomed objects like clay pots and crystal across the finish. Drinks may leave a circle that can be easily removed and food and alcohol spills will not harm the finish. Simply wipe up any spills while they’re still wet, or clean them up with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid using scouring detergents or scouring pads as they could scratch the finish. Spray wax may be used for regular maintenance. Paste wax may be applied for added protection, and can help minimize a surface scratch, should one occur.
