Finishes
Perry Luxe currently offers a collection of proprietary finishes available for all furnishings that are among the most durable in the industry. These exceptional finishes are hand-applied through a process that has been perfected since the early 1990’s. We also offer painted finishes that can be customized to any color of the rainbow as well as sheens in matte, rubbed satin and high gloss. Each piece of furniture is one-of-a-kind.
In our industry, it’s not uncommon for furniture finishes to be described as “delicate” and for the furniture itself to be accompanied by a “handle with care” disclaimer. Our finishes couldn’t be more different.
We seal our finishes with a high quality automotive grade clear coat, which makes each piece very durable. The clear coat is a two part epoxy and applied multiple times until the desired thickness is achieved. This is about double the thickness typically used in the furniture industry. Each piece is then hand sanded, waxed and buffed to bring out the natural beauty of the finish. Treated with the same care as wood or marble, our sculpted steel pieces will last more than a lifetime. Our finishing process makes our product more durable than powder coat and is excellent for exterior use.

Perry Luxe sculpted steel pieces are designed to be functional as well as beautiful. Like all furniture, common sense care is important. For maximum life expectancy, don’t slide rough bottomed objects like clay pots and crystal across the finish. Drinks may leave a circle that can be easily removed and food and alcohol spills will not harm the finish. Simply wipe up any spills while they’re still wet, or clean them up with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid using scouring detergents or scouring pads as they could scratch the finish. Spray wax may be used for regular maintenance. Paste wax may be applied for added protection, and can help minimize a surface scratch, should one occur.
